Why did journalism seem like the career you wanted to pursue? I value transparency and think the public has a right to know what's going on in their area/the world.

Your career has stayed focused on the Greater Philadelphia area. What keeps you interested in your native South Jersey area? I think New Jersey gets a bad reputation and love highlighting the beauty of my hometown!
Can you share one of the most memorable events from your journalism career? Covering Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers is something I won't forget. We were on the air for several days, without breaks. The only station that didn't lose power, I anchored continuous coverage that was extremely important to people's safety. I will always remember the images and stories from that time.
We often see you so early in the mornings, covering the top breaking story on that particular day. When you get to pursue a story outside of the morning show, what type of stories do you look for? I enjoy finding and telling stories with heart! Any time I can tell the public about something good happening in their community, I'm thrilled. I majored in psychology and am so interested in people's feelings/reasons/etc. behind what they do. Any time I can tell a story that shares someone's heart, I'm grateful.
Is there a particular story or subject that you've always wanted to cover but haven't had the opportunity? (Or, perhaps just an area that you'd like to cover more). The Olympics! I've always watched the correspondents reporting from the games and hope someday to cover an Olympic event for NBC10.
Just for fun - what is your favorite restaurant to visit in the Greater Philadelphia area? We are always looking for recommendations! Here's a little South Jersey list :) Hidden gem: Italian Affair in Glassboro, NJ. Hoagies: Pal Joey's in Sewell, NJ. Ice cream: Alaura Kitchen in Pitman, NJ. Bar food: Carolina Blue in Pitman, NJ. (I'll try to stop now, lol)
What is your contact information/preferred mode of contact? Email is best, text works, too! [email protected] 267-995-1076
