What initially attracted you to the world of marketing and communications?

What has attracted me initially to the world of marketing and communications was stories. It's the art of weaving narratives that resonate with audiences on an emotional level, driving them to action or fostering meaningful connections with brands. This intersection of creativity, psychology, and strategy is what initially drew me into this dynamic and ever-evolving field.

Where do you work, and what does your current role entail?

I’m working at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My current role is Annual Giving Coordinator.

Are you an active volunteer or member in any organization beyond PPRA?

I am a member right now but hoping to volunteer more often.

Why do you believe that professional mentorship for young professionals is important?

I believe it is important because youth need guidance to guide this world. Even though the world may have changed for the old guard it is still important to help lead youth understand how to attack the challenges that lay ahead.

Have you had an influential mentor in your life? If so, how did they influence your career?

My influential mentor has been more family influence with my grandfather and my father having big influences on my journey thus far. They have been huge messengers and understand how to deliver a message. That influenced me to want to understand how to do that as well.

What is one of your favorite moments of your career? (Any role!)

One of my favorite moments in my career was helping do a story with National Geographic on hospice care. Seeing how hope and love can influence someone's happiness in despair was very impactful for me.

Just for fun – what's your favorite ice cream flavor?

My favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough. It is so good!!
