Where do you work, and what does your current role entail?
I currently serve as the Director of PR/Communications and Membership Engagement at the NFL Alumni Association in Mount Laurel, NJ. I lead both the communications and membership departments, overseeing our weekly newsletter, membership campaigns, and social media channels. I’m also deeply involved in planning events that support our mission and engage our members.
Where do you enjoy consuming your news and who are a few of your favorite broadcast personalities?
I enjoy the local Philly stations like Fox 29 and 6abc. Even though he has retired, Jim Gardner was always a favorite of mine! I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Anderson this year with Fox29, a creative personality for broadcasting!
Are you an active volunteer or member in any organization beyond PPRA?
Yes! I teach dance to 4-5 year olds at the Marcia Hyland Dance Center. It’s a rewarding experience after being a dancer my whole life!
Have you had an influential mentor in your life? If so, how did they influence your career?
Absolutely. Joe Browne, the longest-tenured employee in NFL history, has been an incredible mentor. He’s helped sharpen my writing and editing skills and offered guidance through professional challenges. Joe’s legacy within the NFL is remarkable, and his mentorship continually inspires me to grow and aim higher every day.
What is one of your favorite moments of your career? (Any role!)
Working Radio Row during Super Bowl week is always a career highlight. One of my favorite moments was when the Eagles made it to (and won!) the Super Bowl—I had the chance to collaborate with local Philly media and connect with former Eagles players. It was an unforgettable experience blending my love for PR with my Philly pride.
What's something you'd like to learn?
I’m interested in learning more about artificial intelligence and how it can be used strategically in PR. With technology evolving so rapidly, staying ahead of the game is key!
Just for fun – what’s your favorite South Jersey restaurant?
This is a tough one, but I have to say Yokohama in Maple Shade. Now that I live in Philly, it’s a go-to for dinner when I’m in the area!
