Valeria-Aponte Feliciano, Anchor/Reporter, Telemundo62
Valeria joined Telemundo62 in June 2022. She anchors Al Mediodía, Telemundo62’s Noon newscast weekdays. She also serves as the consumer reporter for Responde, Telemundo’s consumer investigative unit. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Valeria is bilingual in Spanish and English. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Fine Arts from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Emad Khalil, Executive Producer
Emad oversees editorial content for NBC10’s dayside newscasts (4pm-6pm). His role includes assigning reporters and photographers to stories and working with producers on finding the latest information and breaking news. Emad has been a member of the NBCUniversal family since 2012.
Melissa Signs, Assignment Editor
Melissa is the Dayside Assignment Editor for NBC10. She works with producers, reporters, photographers, the digital team, and managers on day-of stories and breaking news. Melissa communicates with government officials, public relations associates and viewers daily to gather information and generate stories. She also serves as the news department lead for “Clear the Shelters,” the station’s annual pet adoption initiative, and “Wednesday’s Child,” NBC10’s weekly adoption segment. Melissa is a graduate of the Mass Communications and Digital Media Studies program at Temple University.
Diana Torralvo, Director of Communications and Community Relations
Diana leads media relations, internal communications and community initiatives for NBC10, Telemundo62 and NBC Sports Philadelphia. She also manages corporate social responsibility and community partnership initiatives on behalf of the stations and the regional sports network. Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2016, Diana worked in public relations for agencies in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor’s in Communications from West Chester University.
